To estimate the cheapest monthly premiums, we looked at the average rates for males and females in five D.C. zip codes. When estimating insurance rates for teenagers, we used the minimum auto insurance requirements. For all other segments, the liability limits were 50/100/25 and we added uninsured motorist coverage of the same limits.
